Arugam Bay

Located on the east coast, Arugam Bay is internationally famous for surfing. The waves at Main Point attract professionals and learners alike. Off the board you can visit Kumana National Park nearby for a change of scenery filled with wildlife and lagoons. Between May and October the surf is at its best while the rest of the year offers quiet beaches and warm local hospitality.
